At the end of August, the heatwave will be in full swing in the north of France... 🥵 But it won't affect you: you have a date at Northstowe north of Cambridge in England. On the occasion of the Northstowe Festival of Running, you will enjoy a bubble of nature 🌿 just steps away from a big city 🏙️. Here, no burning asphalt or hot drafts between the skyscrapers 🔥, just the coolness of tree shade 🌳, and lakes to cool off! 🏞️ This road race event will be ideal to end your summer beautifully and gently return to running 😌.

Yes, the distances are not those of ultra-trail! The Northstowe Festival of Running is open to all runners, even the less experienced 🤓. Who said novices couldn't join the fun? 😜 So put on your best hat and swap your flip-flops for your best pair of sneakers! 👟 5 km, 10 km or Half Marathon, choose according to your level and desires 🥰. And if you don't want to lose sight of your child 🧒, you can start the "Family Mile" of 500 m in the heart of Western Park. All courses will start from the park 🛝: a chance to party all day long! 🎉 You'll definitely be cheered along the way! 👏 The arrival will be grand as the routes allow you to push hard 🏃‍➡️. Prefer the city? Visit Cambridge 📍, just 30 minutes by car and explore the university and the museums 🖼️. Take a boat ride on the River Cam while enjoying a Fish & Chips! 🐠

All races start at Western Park on Saturday, August 29, 2026:

  • 9:30 AM for the Half Marathon

  • 9:30 AM for the 10 km

  • 2:30 PM for the 5 km

  • 3:30 PM for the "Family Mile"

  • For the Half Marathon: minimum age 17

  • For the 10 km: minimum age 15
