The event in a few words

You probably know the Prague Half Marathon, this legendary 21.097 km which is part of the SuperHalfs 🏆. But do you know the Prague 10 km (or the Birell 10K Night Race Prague by its true name)? 🤓 Like its older brother the half, the 10 km takes place in the capital of the Czech Republic: Prague! In the city center, at nightfall 🌙, you will embark on the 28th edition of a record-breaking race. Indeed, it's not the little brother of a SuperHalf for no reason! 😝 The course of the Prague 10 km will see 8,500 international runners sprinting to give their best 💪. Moreover, the race is in September, allowing you to train and familiarize yourself with the streets of the city of a hundred spires to participate in the half marathon in March 😜.

Only one distance will be on the evening's agenda: 10 km 🎉. Ten kilometers of pure happiness, ten kilometers of epic journey, ten kilometers to conquer your best time 😎. And to attempt to compete with the records of the Kenyan athlete Geoffrey Koech in 27'02" and the Kenyan athlete Joyciline Jepkosgei in 29'43", you'll have to sprint! 🚀 With a flat course made exclusively of straight lines, everything will be in your favor to shave off some time ⏱️. Be careful not to be left speechless by the monuments you'll pass by! 😅 Starting from Republic Square, you'll already be charmed by the architecture of Prague, between modernity and history 🤩. You'll run alongside the Vltava with a privileged view of Štvanice Island! 🏝️ And since Prague is the city of bridges (with 18 bridges ☝️), you'll cross the Čechův Bridge and the Štefánikův Bridge, both in the city center! 🌉

After partying under the finish arch 🏁, how about celebrating your victory in one of the most vibrant cities in Central Europe? 👀 Bars, pubs, nightclubs, jazz clubs—you'll surely find what makes you happy! 😏 Good news: in Prague, the runners' favorite recovery drink (beer 🍻) is the cheapest in Europe! Still, it should be consumed in moderation ⚠️. To occupy the end of your weekend, what better than to visit the city to relax your legs? 🦵 Castle, astronomical clock, Charles Bridge, the Clementinum or the Strahov Monastery for a visit to one of the most beautiful libraries in the world... 📚 You won't be bored! 😉

Don't forget your headlamp to shine in the Birell 10K Night Race Prague! 🔦
