This year, you can donate to the International Association for Refugee Support: Second Harvest Japan. As Japan’s first food bank, they ensure that everyone has access to food 🍲.

Despite its urbanization, Saitama Prefecture is known for its agricultural products. You can find vegetables 🥦, rice 🍚, and tea 🍵 here. Be sure to try the famous Sayama tea, Chichibu Udon and Soba, and Sōka Senbei. After refueling, why not indulge in some tourism? In Omiya, the Hikawa Shrine is one of the oldest and most revered Shinto shrines in Japan. To dive deeper into Japanese culture 🫰, visit the Saitama Prefectural Museum of Art which houses a diverse collection of Japanese and Western art 🖼️. If your time is limited, the city of Toda also has activities that might interest you. For a great family outing, visit the Tobu Zoo to see its animals 🐼 and enjoy its roller coasters 🎡.
