The event in a few words

Whether an amateur or professional, we all have dreams, goals to achieve ๐ŸŽฏ. We are sure the race we will discuss can be part of your dream list ๐Ÿ“‹ because there are not thousands like it... ๐Ÿ˜Ž This famous race is the SwissPeaks Trail! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ As its name suggests, the event is organized in Switzerland โ˜€๏ธ, between the end of August and the beginning of September ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ. The SwissPeaks is more than a race, it's an adventure! ๐Ÿš€ And let's not lie, it's an adventure that can last more or less long, from 21 km to 700 km to be precise ๐Ÿซก. Yes, yes, you read that right: 700 km, equivalent to Paris-Marseille ๐Ÿš‚, to give you a little idea! ๐Ÿ’ก This year, the event will celebrate its ninth edition ๐ŸŽ‚, ready to welcome runners from all over the world to discover the beautiful Canton of Valais ๐Ÿž๏ธ.

Let's dive into the details and talk about distances, because there are options ๐Ÿค—. Let's start with the baby of the trails SwissPeaks: the half marathon. It's the shortest distance ๐Ÿค, open to those who aren't fans of long distances but still want to be part of this big celebration ๐ŸŽ‰. You'll still need to have strong legs ๐Ÿฆต, because this half marathon has 990 mD+ โคด๏ธ. Next up is the marathon, and to be exact, it's even 46 km and 2,480 mD+. Then, SwissPeaks offers a distance of 73 km and 4,400 mD+ ๐Ÿ˜œ. More than just a race, it's a real escape into the heart of nature and the mountains โ›ฐ๏ธ, between the Dents du Midi and the Lรฉman ๐Ÿšฃ. Drumroll, please, because the next race crosses the mythical 100 km barrier ๐Ÿคฉ. It's a race for really motivated runners ready to traverse a part of Switzerland ๐Ÿƒโ€โžก๏ธ. Just a little more patience โŒ›, there are three distances left for the most motivated... Or the craziest ๐Ÿคช, depending. SwissPeaks still has more to offer and proposes major athletes to cover 168 km and 10,990 mD+, with passages through legendary passes like the Col de Susanfe! We are reaching the end, and the last two distances are impressive: 380 km and 26,850 mD+ to be done alone or in duo, and the cherry on the cake ๐Ÿ’ is 700 km and 48,020 mD+. These distances are really reserved for the most experienced, seeking the challenge of a lifetime! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Needless to say, you have plenty of choices, and depending on your level, you can participate in this incredible experience ๐Ÿ’ช. Finally, children will also be part of the event with SwissPeaks Kids and its three courses open to children aged 4 to 12 years ๐Ÿง’.

Switzerland is likely to make you swoon, and not just for its chocolate... ๐Ÿซ You'll see, the landscapes are beautiful ๐ŸŒ„, the nature is radiant, and you'll have it all to yourself ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†”๏ธ. You'll discover superb places that will show you all the colors ๐ŸŒˆ. From Lake Geneva, through Morzine, the Col de la Forclaz ๐Ÿ—ป, the Mont Gelรฉ, and many other surprises ๐ŸŽ. Finally, after discovering every corner of Switzerland, we suggest you take time to relax and discover some local specialties ๐Ÿ˜‹. And speaking of specialties, how can we not mention the delicious culinary specialties ๐Ÿซ•. Whether you are more of a team savory or sweet ๐Ÿฌ, you will find something to delight your taste buds between the delicious fondues ๐Ÿง€, raclettes, or desserts like the Engadine nut tart or a good piece of Swiss chocolate ๐Ÿญ.

In any case, this event seems to have all the ingredients to be a great success, lacking only you! ๐Ÿ‘‰
