"Last night a DJ race saved my life !"🕺 Here’s our little remix at Finishers. No more broken hearts—long live running 🙌.
The Last Night is your next running date, organized in Teulat, in Occitanie. The event takes place in the form of a backyard, night version, so you won’t even feel like you’re running in circles 😳. Between forest, nature and a village atmosphere, you’re about to discover a course that’s as physical as it is psychological 🧠.
In case you’re new to running, let us explain the backyard concept: 6.7 km to cover, no elevation gain, and a start every hour. But here, you’re in a special format: we add kilometers, incline, and keep the same cut-off. Yes—in short, we make it harder and let your knees take the hit 😬. The course you’ll chain together at night is 7.8 km with 150 mD+. At most, 14 loops are available to you to beat the competition. If you’re the only one to start one of the loops, you’re automatically declared the winner. Conversely, if several runners are neck and neck until the last loop, the one who posts the best time on the 14th lap will win the event. In short: race management to master from start to finish 🏁. Keep smiling until the end—it’s good for morale, and it scares the competition 😈.
As for the weather, the event takes place in January, which means very cool and dark conditions 🧤. On average, you’re about to knock out around a dozen loops in the deep night 🌒. Bring something to keep you warm: we may not be at altitude or in the mountains, but at this time of year, snow can fall at any moment, and anywhere ❄️. Also remember to watch your ankles—the paths of Teulat aren’t designed to make things easy for you. Woodland paths and forest sections: the terrain aims to be as technical as it is varied 👟
Once you’ve put in your share of effort, remember to enjoy yourself 🏖️. Just a few steps from here, you’ll find Lac de la Balerme to breathe and debrief in peace while sipping a nice cold Tourtel 🍹. Then head to Lavaur to stroll through the town center and sit out on a terrace, or push on to Castres for a walk along the Agout and its waterside houses. And if you want a postcard view, Albi isn’t far—perfect to finish on a grand note…!
So don’t Tarn (delay) grabbing your bib—these go like hotcakes 🥖.
The Last Night offers only a single course, but repeated over 14 laps 🫠: a technical and varied 7.8 km loop with 150 m D+, to be completed in under an hour, again and again 🔄.
The profile, demanding from the very first laps, gets tougher as fatigue and darkness set in throughout the night. Little rest between the two loops: manage your transition, your refueling, and your clarity of mind with the same rigor as your stride 🔦.
More information about bib pick-up will be communicated later by the organizers.
The race will start on Saturday, January 23, 2027 at 4:00 p.m., in Teulat, in the Tarn, 20 minutes from Toulouse. A new start will then be given every hour, up to a maximum of 14 loops or until only one runner remains in the race.
