The event in a few words
We know you've always dreamed of being in Top Gun 🛩️, diving into the world of aviation, with a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses 🕶️ perched on your nose and enjoying the camaraderie on the runway! Well, since we're super nice, we're going to make your dream come true! 😉 However, you won't be piloting an F-14A Tomcat ✈️, but you'll still be in control of your running shoes! 🤪 We're inviting you to sign up for the AéroRun of Paris, where you can participate in a road tarmac race of 10 km! 🤩
Running on a runway 🛫 means a flat and fast course! Head over to the Bourget in Seine-Saint-Denis (not Savoie), precisely at the leading business airport in Europe, surrounded by planes and rockets! 🛸 Covering an area of 553 hectares, the Bourget platform includes three different runways (2,990 m, 2,395 m, and 1,847 m). You'll see private jets of all sizes, helicopters 🚁, small Cessnas, Airbus A 320, A 340, and even Boeing 737... There are more wings here than in a bird's nest! 🦅 If you'd rather explore this place at a leisurely pace, you can join the walk of 2.5 km! 🚶♀️ In both cases, you're supporting a charitable cause. 100% of your registration fee will be donated to the missions of Aviation Without Borders! 🤝 But what missions exactly? We're talking about enhancing the medical messaging service (enabling the shipment of medication packages and small medical equipment around the world) 💊 and humanitarian freights (same mission as MM but less restricted) 💉, as well as facilitating the assistance of refugees or sick children through air transport ⚡.
And yes Maverick, besides the very unique setting, you'll get a glimpse of the famous rocket from the Air and Space Museum! 🚀 Running is great, but so is culture! For those with the best fundraising from charity bibs, there are additional prizes to be won: 2 long-haul flight tickets 🛫 (1 rotation Paris-NYC with an airline pilot 🧑✈️) or a VIP bib for the 20km of Paris 🏃➡️. A chance to fulfill other dreams! 😉 But enough talking 🤐. To continue your journey of intellectual elevation, the region's treasures await you. Less than an hour away, you can explore the majestic Basilica of Saint-Denis ⛪, the royal necropolis of France, yes Sir/Madam! The Parc de la Villette, perfect for a family stroll or unwinding after the effort. A little trip to Paris, because it would be a shame to pass by the capital without saying hello along the Seine, at the iconic Eiffel Tower! ⭐
Put on your aviator glasses 👓 and your runner sneakers 👟 and come compete in the AéroRun of Paris race!
