But why are we mentioning Santa Claus here? 🤔 Even though the race takes place in April, you’ll be running in the realm of the famous Santa Claus! 🎄 Yes, he and his elves don't take holidays 🧚♂️. The start of this unique race will be in the Santa Claus Village, located right on the Arctic Circle 🥶. This kind of start is something you won't see anywhere else! 🤩 Santa Claus has been generous for this trail race, with minimal elevation changes and partially cleared paths thanks to his reindeer 😁. The course is a true gift 🎁: you'll run through semi-urban landscapes, combining forests of conifer trees and breathtaking views of the Taiga. You'll dive into the most authentic Finnish Lapland experience! 🥰
No rush to head home after the race! 😎 Take your time to explore the wonders of the region: go on a hunt for the Northern Lights 🌌, enjoy a snowmobile safari 🛷, or take a dog sled ride 🐕🦺 to discover the Arctic landscapes from a new perspective 🤓. Plenty of sporty activities await, but if you're out of energy after your marathon 🪫 and looking to relax, there are heated pools and many spas available! 💆♂️
The Arctic Wildmarathon in Finland is more than just a race, it's a unique experience where performance meets wonder ✨ and the snow brings the magic of Christmas to every step! 🏃♂️
