The event in a few words

Probably the only time in your life when your old geometric formulas will be useful ๐Ÿ˜ˆ.

Set sail for Paris, in the รŽle-de-France region, for a race that will reconcile you with numbers ๐Ÿค. Here, forget about complex and endless equations: the calculation is simple, it's 3 runners for 14 km each (3x14, 3.14, Pi, see the connection? ๐Ÿ”—). Only one event on the program, and not the least: a mythical distance of 42.195 km to be completed in relay. You will be able to compare yourself with the best: Eliud Kipchoge, Kelvin Kiptum, and Ruth Chepngetich better watch out ๐Ÿซก. It all happens on a September morning, to start the school year right (and get you on the right track in math ๐Ÿค“), in the green setting of the Bois de Boulogne ๐ŸŒณ. A fast and nature circuit awaits you. And for those who fear starting their first marathon or half-marathon solo, this is the perfect event. The Pi Marathon is the first step of a longer path ๐ŸŒ…, under a new and original format ๐Ÿ†•. First 1/3, then half, and the full marathon in less than a year ๐ŸŽฏ.

The route is anything but problematic: it's a very smooth 7 km loop that you'll have to complete twice before passing the baton ๐Ÿ”‚. We are far from the atmosphere of a back-of-the-class math lesson ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ. Here, the warmth of the public and other competitors will push you to outdo yourself throughout the course ๐Ÿ“ข. You'll see, the turns are gentle and take place under the shade of the park's tall trees ๐ŸŒฒ. Find your bearings on the first loop then let loose on the second before passing the baton to your buddy. For the record, the origin of the marathon isn't a sports achievement, but a message, vital information. But today, the messenger is you and your winner team. You are 3 times more numerous to achieve this feat, and everything is shared: the highs โฌ†๏ธ, the lows โฌ‡๏ธ, the sufferings, the effort, and the feeling of success ๐Ÿ†. If back then Pheidippides had had the chance to run on these trails instead of under the sun between Marathon and Athens, he probably would have had a bit more breath to deliver his message! ๐Ÿซ So enjoy the fresh air blowing on your face, and start September with your head held high ๐Ÿ˜Ž.

After crossing the finish line with your two teammates, go to the worms to the greenery! ๐Ÿ’š You can test your arms by paddling peacefully on the Lower Lake ๐ŸŸ, to work all the muscles of your body ๐Ÿ’ช. If you want some company, the peacocks at the Bagatelle Park, located a hundred meters away, will also be happy to meet you ๐Ÿฆš. With a bit of luck, you might even see them perform their splendid courtship display ๐Ÿคฉ. If you come from a neighboring country, we remind you of some specialties to try over the weekend: croissants ๐Ÿฅ, croque-monsieurs, macarons ๐Ÿง, or the very famous ham sandwich with its traditional baguette will give you a good idea of the local French cuisine ๐Ÿ˜‹. And at 3, you can taste 3 times more dishes, so go ahead without holding back โŒ. That's the spirit of the relay: shared effort, comfort multiplied by three โœ…. Also, don't forget that you are in the capital of France, where you'll find an infinity of cultural and historical sites: the Louvre, Versailles, or the Eiffel Tower to name just a few of the major international landmarks ๐ŸŒŽ.

Get ready, Pi, go! Don't wait any longer and join this sports experience that will show you a more natural side of the City of Light ๐Ÿ’ก.

4 reasons to join this race

The power of sharing ๐Ÿค
Like Pheidippides, the hero of the Marathon, you don't run for yourself, but for the team. Taking your place for the Pi Marathon ๐Ÿƒ means accepting a powerful mission: carrying the message (and the time) to the next runner ๐Ÿ“œ. This human dimension transforms a simple run into a true collective adventure where everyone supports each other. You'll discover what the phrase "One for all, all for one" really means ๐Ÿ™Œ.
The math revisions ๐Ÿงฎ
Honestly, did you remember what number corresponds to Pi? ๐Ÿ‘€ There are no wrong answers, but reviewing your basics and multiplications never hurt anyone ๐Ÿ˜†. You revise, and you don't even have a headache at the end of your effort: not bad, right? However, for leg pain, we prefer not to commit ๐Ÿ˜ฌ.
The highway of records ๐ŸŽ๏ธ
The track is a 7 km ultra-flat and smooth loop. If you're looking to thrill the counters or test your speed without worrying about elevation, don't pass by โŒ. Between undergrowth, autumn freshness, and wide paths, a beautiful urban nature setting awaits you ๐Ÿƒ. You'll see that the capital isn't just about big gray and concrete buildings ๐Ÿ™๏ธ.
An original format ๐Ÿคช
Today, running enters a new dynamic, and runners worldwide continue to seek new sports challenges ๐Ÿ‹. With the Pi Marathon, mission accomplished โœ…. More than just a race against the clock or a quest for performance, these are shared moments and memories you'll forever engrain in your runner's mind ๐Ÿƒ. The principle is clear: allow everyone to run a mythical distance while sharing a collective adventure ๐Ÿ’ฅ. More than an effort, the Pi Marathon is a proposal: to run together, to transmit, to share intense moments ๐Ÿซ‚.

The distance you'll all agree on

  • Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 9:00 AM
  • 3 loopsx14.065โ€‰km

A few more words

During this event, you will find only one test โ˜๏ธ. The sole, the unique: this way, there's no risk of starting in the wrong place ๐Ÿ.

The course is divided into three identical segments of 14.065 km. If you are a keen mathematician, that indeed gives a total of 42.195 km ๐Ÿงฎ. Each relay runner must complete two loops of a 7.0325 km circuit traced in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne ๐Ÿ”. The profile is extremely flat, with a elevation gain close to 0 m per loop, making it a fast and accessible course โšก.

You will wind between the wooded areas and water points, clearly visible to the spectators who have come in large numbers for the occasion ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ. The relay handover is done in a dedicated area, concentrating all the tension and energy of the runners ๐Ÿƒ. Among the points of interest: the proximity of the racecourse and the peaceful groves in the area, disrupted only by the rhythmic sound of your steps. And don't forget to enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜‰
