Puglia by UTMB® 2026

Between the Adriatic Sea and the Mediterranean hinterland, Puglia by UTMB takes you to run in the heart of one of the brightest regions of Italy 🇮🇹. Organized in Apulia, in the south of the country, this official event UTMB World Series takes place in the fall, when the heat becomes milder and the landscapes reveal their full authenticity. Limestone cliffs, coastal paths, white villages, and farmland form the backdrop of this unique trail, where the sea is never far away. Several trail formats are available, from the most accessible to the most demanding, attracting both long-distance enthusiasts and runners seeking a first UTMB experience.

The Puglia by UTMB course definitely goes off the beaten path 🌊. Here, there are no high mountains, but a technical, rocky, and challenging terrain, alternating between coastal paths, country roads, and rougher sections. Repeated surges are frequent, the ground is sometimes uneven, and the exposure to wind can add a real strategic dimension. The longest distances require excellent effort management, while the shorter formats allow you to fully enjoy the scenery without sacrificing intensity.
