Grab your passport, your best trail outfits, a few Pounds Sterling 💷 and head to England 🇬🇧 for the Ultra X England. Meet in the village of Edale, in Derbyshire. Not sure if you'll have time to meet Kate Middleton, the princess of Wales 👸, given the schedule awaiting you. The Ultra X England is part of the same organization, offering Ultra X races around the world. That's probably why the name sounds familiar ❤️🔥.
This race, held in the heart of the Peak District National Park 🌳, near Manchester, is part of the global UTMB circuit and brings together trail enthusiasts from around the world! 🌎 The atmosphere is lively, sure to warm the body during this September month when temperatures range from 8°C to 18°C 🌡️ (remember, we're in England). Even though "peak" means "summit" in French, the Peak District National Park is a region of medium-sized mountains ⛰️ with breathtaking landscapes. To explore this verdant nature, 6 races are available🤩. You have plenty of choices. The longest and thus the toughest is the 110km with 2423 mD+ for the first part and 1961 m D+ for the second. Two stages to be done in one go or over two days, depending on your form 💪. Then the distances decrease, but be careful, there's still elevation gain. You can choose the 60km with 2423 mD+, the 50km with 1961 m D+, or the 25km with 957 m D+. Finally, if you just want to explore trail running without (too much) sweating, the organization offers you the option to register for a 12 km👌. If you're torn and don't know which one to choose, know that the 110 km, 50 km, and 25 km are UTMB index races. What's that for? 👀 To try your luck at the draw for the UTMB® World Series Finals. Otherwise, each track will wind through the national park that has been widely used as a backdrop for the film “Pride and Prejudice”🎬. You can tell your friends and shine at social gatherings 💃. It may not help you move faster though. In this splendid nature much loved by tourists, you can also discover a secret and fascinating world of spectacular caves sculpted by nature over millions of years. Keep your eyes open! 📸
During Ultra X England, those under 23 can participate for free in all the race distances. The atmosphere here is sporty but friendly. Everything is done to ensure you have a great time in one of the races while enjoying this oldest national park in Great Britain 😎. You won't be bored here, as it's known to be a land of sports. If you still have energy, continue exploring this nature by bike, horseback, or even hiking! 🤠
