The event in a few words

Welcome to Wales! 🐉 Yes, welcome to the Welsh lands of the Red Dragon for a fantastic event 🔥. The Welsh are eagerly awaiting you at the end of July for an incredible race: the Ultra X Wales. This race is part of the UTMB World Circuit and brings together trail enthusiasts from around the world! To give you a quick context, Ultra X is an organization behind several major races such as Ultra X Slovenia, Ultra X England and many other fantastic destinations 😎. In short, they orchestrate the organization of major events expertly 🪄. Speaking of magic, the landscapes you will see are almost like magic! 🔮 The races will take place south of the Snowdonia National Park, which encompasses the highest mountains in the region. It's a unique place with a raw and wild nature 🍃. You will discover breathtaking landscapes... 😮‍💨 Well, we hope you'll still have some breath left for running, that's important 🤪.

No more joking, it's time to get serious: the distances 🫡. Let's start with the smallest event: the Ultra X 12 km with 466 mD+ 😇. We gradually raise the bar with the Ultra X 25 km and 929 mD+ 🍼. It's a nice distance that requires good preparation but remains accessible to amateur runners 💪. The third race is the Ultra X 50 km and 2,166 mD+; your legs will really heat up 🥵. The fourth and penultimate distance is not lacking in difficulty either: the Ultra X 60 km and 2,650 mD+, it's starting to get challenging 🤠. But the worst, or the best 😉, is the last and most prestigious distance: the Ultra X 110 km and 4,816 mD+ 👑. This event consists of completing the 60 km and 50 km loop in the form of two stages in one or two stages 🤞. It's a distance that requires experience and training 🏃‍♀️, as the difficulty level can be high in some areas of the course ↗️. Despite all the sweat, and sometimes even the pain you may feel 🥹, remember to keep your eyes wide open 🤩. It's not every day you'll be in the heart of such beautiful landscapes ❤️.

And once your effort is complete, you can switch from runner mode to tourist mode, because there's plenty to do in the "Land of Castles" 🏛️. You can start with a historical point by visiting castles like Caernarfon Castle or Conwy Castle 🏰. You will live like royalty 👸. Next, we encourage you to take the Ffestiniog Railway, a beautiful steam train reminiscent of the Hogwarts Express 🚂. To continue your journey 🧳, you can treat your taste buds by sampling delicious local specialties like Welsh Rarebit or Cawl 🍽️. You will enjoy it! And wait, how could we forget? 😱 If you're in Wales, we must tell you to go see a rugby match 🏉. It's the national sport, a true tradition for the Welsh! 😍 The Principality Stadium in Cardiff is one of the most iconic stadiums in Europe 🏟️.

So, grab your cleats and join the scrum for the Ultra X Wales... 🥾 That said, we advise you to keep your sneakers on, as cleats might be cumbersome for running fast... 👟
