Yet another race landing on your calendar 📅: the Harmonie Mutuelle Urban Trail d’Amiens! Yes, the city is organizing a new edition of its trail without timing! ⏱️ The event is simple and consists of a distance of 10 km to be done running 🐇 or by walking 🐢. You're spoiled for choice!
Oh Amiens! Capital of Picardy, how can you not fall under the spell of the North when it is home to cities like this! 🤩 A region that is pleased to organize, again this year, a fairly famous running event in the area: the Harmonie Mutuelle Urban Trail d’Amiens! For the occasion, it has decided to create a race that brings everyone together: seasoned runners, amateurs, walkers! Beware ⚠️, it's important to note that winter temperatures remain freezing ❄️ (maybe it's to better preserve the beauty of the place, who knows? 🥰). So don't forget your essential pack: base layer / jacket / hat / gloves! 🧤 You need to stay in shape for the race, but also to visit the city afterwards! Just because the atmosphere is going to be sizzling doesn't mean you should start undressing! 😜
The course itself will remain a secret until further notice 🤫, although you will find a few clues in our race descriptions 👀. Knowing the success of the Amiens setting, you're not likely to be disappointed. Speaking of which, do you know everything there is to discover there ? "The Little Venice of the North" 🛶 has nothing to envy from other French cities 😌. It dethrones everyone with its unmissable heritage, highly praised by UNESCO 🌎 : the "City of Art and History" label has rewarded Amiens since 1992 for the enhancement of its heritage🏅. Headlining: the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral ⛪, its sculpted decor, its great stained-glass windows... In short, a perfect representation of Gothic art! At 112 m high, it is the largest medieval cathedral in the world! 😲 Its volume is twice that of Notre-Dame de Paris. We can already sense the Parisians' jealousy after reading this text! 😬 But come on over! It's time to come and see the wonders of the North 🤝.
What's more, it's not the city's only gem! 💎 Its neighborhoods are also very renowned 🏘️, notably because they are divided by numerous canals 🌊. The rustic charm of Amiens knows how to win over its visitors' hearts ❤️. The Saint-Leu district is one of the most famous spots. Born in the Middle Ages, it is now « the place to be » for a drink 🍹 on a terrace and to enjoy the unique atmosphere ✨. Take the opportunity to have a look 👀 at the Place du Don, where the « gable houses », the oldest in the city, are built 🌆.
All in all, it's the ideal place to sign up for a new challenge! That's why we have a feeling you'll be at the Harmonie Mutuelle Urban Trail d’Amiens ! 😍
« Amiens moi au bout de mes rêves, emmenez-moi aux pays des merveilles » 🎶
Message from the organizer:
"Whatever your age, come and discover the beauty of Amiens' sites in a different way, walking or running in a festive atmosphere, through an event open to everyone, with family, friends or company colleagues"
Get ready for the legendary 10 km distance! 🤩 This year, the start (which is also the finish, so you can't get lost) will be at Saint-Pierre Park, and it's a real novelty: the base camp is leaving the Apradis site to move closer to the historic center 📍.
As in previous editions, you'll run through the most grandiose and original places in the Little Venice of the North. The Amiens Métropole Zoo, the Hôtel des Feuillants, the Coliseum ice rink, a nursing home and many other places opened their doors to you during the 2025 edition. New venues will surprise you in 2026 for a sporting, festive and friendly experience 🥳. Plus, the race is not timed, so no stress about finishing times 😮💨.
Just like the running version, set off on the 10 km of the Amiens Urban Trail, but take your time and go one foot after the other 👣. Still untimed, this course is done by walking. You'll be able to open your eyes wide, enjoy the buildings you pass through, and chat without pressure 🗣️. The Amiens Métropole Zoo, the Hôtel des Feuillants and the Coliseum ice rink have plenty of surprises in store for you 😮.
