Bouduuuu, you won’t be bored in the Pink City! 💗 If you feel like heading down to Occitanie, know first that Toulouse is an ideal spot for all running lovers 🥰. Its calm and soothing banks see plenty of runners go by, music in their ears, in top form 🎶. Right in the middle of November, the Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience is back to bring some color back into your life 🌈. Running along the Garonne will feel like a walk in the park (or not 😅). You’ll see—an immersive, life-size visit awaits you, whether on the 10 km 🔥, the half marathon 🧨, the marathon 🎇 or the relay marathon 🤝. Kids’ races are also on the program to reveal tomorrow’s talents 💪.
A weekend full of emotions awaits you—so it’s a true experience in its own right 🤩. The race village and its entertainment, of course, but with the little Playground touch, which is none other than the race organizer. Indeed, their events are designed to be decidedly responsible, with the lowest possible ecological impact and a strong contribution to the local area by offering local products ♻️.
In this edition, the course will notably take the famous Piste des Géants 😎. It celebrates Toulouse’s great aeronautical destiny, so it will be perfect for taking off like a jet plane! ✈️ Now, the piste is a urban artery in a district where innovation runs through the streets like water from springs 💧. Another box to tick during your stay ✅. Which reminds us: you mustn’t miss the little streets of Old Toulouse 🤓. Oh yes—otherwise you won’t be able to enjoy your trip 100% 💥. Picture yourself moving through these narrow lanes, where every turn seems to lead you to a fine adventure 🗺️, or at least to a bakery offering irresistible croissants! 🥐 What’s more, it’ll be a real workout! 😬 The streets are real calf gymnastics; their uneven cobblestones challenge even the highest heels! 👠 It’s like a dance with the past, where each step brings you a little closer to discovering a hidden café or an antique shop filled with treasures (or dusty trinkets, depending on your luck 😅).
“At some point” all the criteria are in place for you to come and take part in the Toulouse Métropole Run 🤗. It’s not because they say chocolatine instead of pain au chocolat that we don’t trust them to organize an event like this! 😂 Quite the opposite 😉.
Grab a bib and come see life in pink for the time of a race! 💕
Thinking you may have aimed big with 42 km? Then welcome to the "Giants’ Marathon"!
Nothing is ever too big for thrill-seekers! 😉 With all these monuments, the Pink City will treat you to an extraordinary experience full of admiration, wonder, and a little slump at the 30 km wall 😅. But let’s start at the beginning... Well, with the first few kilometers! Jardin des Plantes, Toulouse Museum, Île du Ramier, R. Poujade Footbridge... 🌉 All of that in just 5 km—just what it takes to convince you to stick it out to the end! And you’re right to, because after tackling a long straight stretch to the Oncopole, you’ll take the A. Conti Footbridge and weave through the streets all the way to the Giants’ Runway 🤯. No need to run away from them 💨, but you can still put your foot down on a straight line of more than 7 km! What’s more, the Cité de l'Espace will make you want to hit the throttle 🚀. At km 30, you’ll discover the Parc de la Maourine, enough to distract you from the famous "30 km wall" 🦆. Yes, it’s only a legend (a bit like giants)! 🤪
To finish in style, you’ll cross the Pont Neuf and pass in front of the Capitole for a grand arrival 👟 on Boulevard d'Arcole! 🏁
The relay marathon follows the same route as the marathon! 🤓 For each runner, you should estimate about 7 km each.
You surely knew the expression "The cherry on the Garonne", well, here it is brought back up to date! 🤓
At the same time, this half marathon is worth the occasion! After setting off and admiring the Jardin des Plantes, the Museum of the Pink City and the Île du Ramier in only 5 km, you'll head to the other bank by taking the R. Poujade Footbridge 🌉. You'll be off on a long straight line to the Oncopole, then you'll make a detour back via the Île du Ramier (you never get tired of it 😍). It will finally be time to head towards the finish line, Boulevard d'Arcole, cheered on by the supporters! 👏
A fast, smooth course lined with monuments—sound tempting? 🤔 Then let’s go for the "10 km of the Capitole" at the Toulouse Métropole Run Expérience!
From the 1st kilometer, you’ll be able to admire the Jardin des Plantes and the Muséum de Toulouse around a bend 🖼️. You’ll then head to Île du Ramier before taking the R. Poujade Footbridge 🌉. You’ll already be halfway through! Yes, the kilometers fly by faster when the route is beautiful! After passing the Jardin Raymond VI, it will already be time to cross the finish line on Boulevard d'Arcole! 🏁
