Yes, you're about to embark on a high-speed experience on the Serbian asphalt 🚀. The Belgrade Marathon is the must-attend event of mid-April! 🗓️ This race has a reputation for being fast, so keep an eye on your time! ⏱️ But don't worry if you're not keen on racing against your watch, multiple distances are offered to enjoy this city straddling the Danube and the Sava 🏞️.
But before diving into one of those rivers 🏊♂️, how about learning more about the courses and distances? 🤔 We assure you it's worth it! In a 10 km, a half marathon, or a marathon, you'll be able to admire the rich historical heritage of Belgrade. Known as the crossroad between the West and the East 🌍, you're sure to be enchanted! There's nothing better than combining sport and travel for a 100% immersive race experience 🧳. If you don’t want to run alone and prefer sharing the half marathon experience, you can participate in a relay! 🤝
As Belgrade will surely captivate you during your race, it would be a shame not to enjoy it after you've put away your running shoes! 👟 After the effort, go explore the Belgrade Fortress overlooking the confluence of the Danube and the Sava 😍. For family or couple relaxation, head to Ada Ciganlija Island 🏝️, where you can relax by the water or engage in water sports 🚣. Why not also taste the delicious Serbian cuisine in the bohemian Skadarlija district? 🍽️ If you're a culture enthusiast, the Nikola Tesla Museum awaits for a dive into the universe of this genius inventor 🧠. You will start at the Republic Square 📍 and turn right towards the Nikola Tesla Museum 🏛️.
You will then go to Sava Square and head towards the quays 🌉. You will follow along the Sava and continue straight until you reach the airport 🎶. You will loop around the Blocks and go to Gradski Park 🏙️. Finally, you will head towards the finish line, passing by various shopping centers 🛍️, and the Belgrade Casino. You will cross the Branko Bridge again to loop around Kalemegdan Park and raise your arms under the finish line on the main square! 🏁
Congratulations, you have conquered the 42.195 km of the marathon! 👏
You will start your journey at the Republic Square 📍 and turn right towards the Nikola Tesla Museum 🏛️.
You will then go to the Savski Square and head towards the banks. You will follow the Sava and then cross the Ada Bridge! 🔁 You will go up to the airport and then navigate around the Blocks surrounding the Belgrade Arena 🏟️. You will cross the Branko Bridge and circle around Kalemegdan Park before raising your arms under the finish line arch on the grand square! 🏁
You will then become a half-marathoner! 👏
As with the marathon and the half-marathon, you will start from Republic Square ⛪ and turn right towards the Nikola Tesla Museum 🏛️. Then you will go to Sava Square and head towards the Branko's Bridge 🌉. You will circle around Kalemegdan Park 🌳 and turn around to cross the finish line on the square ! 🏁

6 PM for the 10 km on Saturday, April 18, 2026
For the 10 km, children aged 12 to 18 need written consent from a parent, which must be signed on site during participant registration.
For the half marathon, children aged 14 to 18 need written consent from a parent, to be signed in person during participant registration.
For the marathon, the race is open to all citizens aged 18 and older.
