The event in a few words

Forget Christmas markets and mulled wine, in December, we're taking you to sweat in Asia! ✈️ The Dinh Lap Eco-Trail arrives in the province of Lang Son, in Vietnam, a region known for its majestic landscapes including lush green rice fields, terraced rice paddies, and mountain trails ⛰️. If you're not sure where Lang Son is, the city (of the same name as the province) is located in the north of the country and shares a border with China! 🇨🇳

The idea of the Eco-Trail is to offer a unique running experience that skillfully balances wild trails and urban landscapes while taking care of the planet 🌍. The concept is simple: run local, respect the playground and prove that high-level sports rhyme with sustainability 🫶. This program offers you three formats of pure escape 🌾. You can choose between a 7 km (still with 418 mD+, it stings 💥), a 12 km and 812 mD+, or a 21 km and 1,200 mD+ which will require you to bring out the best in yourself 🥵. You got it, the region is mountainous and will put you to the test 📈. We're talking about a wild course between terraced rice paddies and dense forests. As an anecdote, know that Dinh Lap is the paradise of star anise and pine 🌲. The air is so fragrant that you'll feel like you're running in a natural perfume bottle (pretty nice to mask the smell of sweat, right? 😂). Stay alert as you might encounter some unusual friends! Between two rows of tea bushes, don't be surprised if a local goat tries to snatch your snacks: they know the trails better than your GPS! 🗺️ In partnership with a local homestay, the event offers you a total immersion 😮. It's an opportunity to live the Vietnamese way, discover the cultural heritage of the locals, and support sustainable tourism that respects this wild land🏮. Be careful, in the land of the Dragon 🐉, the weather is a bit capricious in December. Although the rainy season is over, you might encounter a light drizzle and fog 🐸. But hey, you're not made of sugar, are you? 😉

Once your medal is around your neck 🏅, extend the experience by exploring the region of Lạng Sơn. Less than an hour's drive away, you can discover the bustling market of Đồng Đăng where flavors and colors meet 🛍️. For a cultural break, visit the impressive Tam Thanh caves, a true natural masterpiece! 🕳️ Feel like relaxing? Enjoy the Mẫu Sơn hot springs, perfect after the effort! And if you travel the roads of the Huyện Đình Lập, the picturesque landscape will accompany you for unforgettable memories 📸. One thing is certain, you'll remember these scenes for a lifetime 📸.

So, ready to be swept away by the rice terraces of Lang Son? 🍚
