The event in a few words

The Hoka Paris Half takes place at the beginning of March right in the heart of the city of love (of running), Paris! 😌 Yes, this genuine popular festival awaits more than 45,000 participants to renew this pure tradition of running in Île-de-France 🥳. For this iconic road race of 21.097 km, you will need good physical preparation 🏋️‍♀️. Fortunately, everything is planned: training sessions are offered beforehand to perfect your condition (VMA tests, hill workouts, PPG, long runs) and nutrition tips will be given to help you run in the city perfectly. You can sense it, you'll be well-prepared for this event that often serves as a rehearsal for the Paris Marathon 💪. So, let's meet under the cool spring-like temperatures to take part in the Paris Half Marathon and run through the streets filled with monuments of the French capital 🇫🇷.

A race in Paris 🗼 is always a magnificent walking excursion among the beautiful buildings of the City of Light 💡. It's hard to find a more beautiful place to run! 😇 The starting line for your half will be located on Boulevard Saint-Germain, across from the Île Saint-Louis, and your finish will take place on Place de la Bastille 🗡️. Along the route, you'll encounter motivated finishers eager for victory and performance by breaking their own personal records ⏱️. Regarding this, you'll also see experienced athletes as every year several participants compete for first place and attempt to smash the reigning records. Currently, among men, it's the Kenyan Roncer Kipkorir who holds the record since 2023, with his 59 minutes and 38 seconds 🤯. Among women, it's his counterpart Sheila Chepkirui, also since 2023, with 1 hour, 6 minutes, and 1 second 😮‍💨.

You too, take the plunge, but not into the Seine 😅. On your "tourist-running" agenda: you will run along the quays of the Seine and cross the Pont de Tolbiac. On the way, you'll pass by the Institut du Monde Arabe, the Jardin des Plantes 🌷, the imposing François Mitterrand Library 📚 and the famous Quai d'Austerlitz. Then you'll head towards the Bois de Vincennes to enjoy a beautiful green setting. But of course, as you might expect, you'll also admire its magnificent castle! 🏰 What would a visit to Vincennes be without it? 🫣 After a few strides in front of the Paris Zoo, you'll return to the quays, passing by the Accor Arena 🏟️. You'll need to follow the riverbank for a few more kilometers until the Quai des Célestins before turning into Rue de Rivoli and Rue Saint-Antoine to reach the finish line at Place de la Bastille 🏁. Once you've completed the race of the Paris Half Marathon, all that's left is to share the euphoria with others! 🎉

The chef's surprise: this must-see race with an unparalleled atmosphere offers you numerous entertainments of all kinds. Yes, despite the competitive mood, know that the festive dimension of the event is recognized worldwide 🌎. Thus, in addition to the cheers from the public, brass bands, music, and warm refreshments will carry you like a dazed person to the finish line! 🥁 The Paris Half is not just a performance race 🙅‍♀️. It is also a race committed to the planet ♻️. The fourth most populous city in Europe raises awareness about environmental protection 👏. That's why the organizers promote an eco-responsible approach 👍. They also continue their human commitment by making the race accessible to parasports 🦽 and promoting sports activities by creating a connected race 📱. At the start of the school year, thanks to the challenge available on the application, you’ll be able to participate for free with your partner 👯‍♀️ and try to win the many gifts 🎁. We advise you to take photos of your duo and send them to the organization 📸. Well, almost everything is said...

Oh no! It's true that Paris is the city of running and love 🫶. But you know, it is also the city of gastronomy and the croissant! 🥐 Of course, that's not all there is to enjoy after a race! 😆 You also have the traditional and unbeatable ham and butter baguette, the croque-monsieur, onion soup, and macarons 😋. Take your time to savor and regain strength... You'll need it to participate in the Paris Marathon a few weeks later! 😜
