“Oh city of light, feel the heat of our runners—do you see their passion? When they sweat beside you, in this race, chase the clock, at last, so that our records fall again!” 🎶
If you’re a regular at the Parc des Princes 🏟️, you’ve probably recognized this chant, slightly remastered for the occasion ✍️. If you’ve already worn out your vocal cords in the Auteuil stand, you know the chorus 🎤. After a successful first act in 2023, Paris Saint-Germain is doing it again with the second edition of We Run Paris as part of its PSG Running program. This road race of 10 km is back after two years away and will take place at the end of June 🗓️ in the capital 📍.
The event will run throughout the weekend, with more than 10,000 participants expected to converge on the iconic Parc des Princes. Starting Friday, there will be plenty of entertainment provided by the club’s partners, along with a food court in the race village 😋. It will be an opportunity for you to get your bearings and soak up the growing buzz of the event before lining up at the start 🔫. On Saturday, it’s the children 🧒 aged 7 (like Kvaratskhelia) to 15 who will be in the spotlight, with no fewer than 4 Kids Races around the stadium, so they too can experience We Run Paris. 🥰
Sunday is race day (instead of a match)! 🏃♂️ And you’ll need to switch into Champions League 🏆 mode, even though it’s usually Tuesday or Wednesday 😅. 10, like the number of Ousmane Dembélé (who can shoot with both feet) and like the 10 km you’ll have to cover to reach the finish line 😎. You’ll have the chance to start from the Parc des Princes, on a route that will take you right into the heart of the capital 📍, which beats for the Rouge 🔴 & Bleu 🔵 colors. City of light 💡, city of love ❤️, city of architecture 🏛️, city of fashion 👗, city of gastronomy 🍷 and of course city of sport 🏋️♀️ (Rugby World Cup 2023, Olympic Games 2024, etc.)... But what is the beauty missing? 🤔
Immersive entertainment, perhaps… which you’ll be able to enjoy all along the route! 😍 We can assure you that every kilometer will be a celebration 🎉 and that, like the ultra-parisians, there will be an insane atmosphere 🗣️ to boost you all the way to the finish line 🏁. We would also like to highlight that the race is open to people with disabilities, so that everyone can enjoy the 100% Paris Saint-Germain experience 👏.
If you too want to be part of PSG history by lining up for its mythical race, join us quickly and don’t forget: “This is ? Paríííis!” 😉.
