The event in a few words

Races, an urban trail, and a natural trail in the city/state/principality of Monaco ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡จ, it's the perfect combination, isn't it? ๐Ÿ‘‘ So, if you too have seen Les Tuches ๐Ÿฟ (like any self-respecting French!) and, like Cathy, fell in love with the city of the Grimaldi, it's time to pack your suitcase ๐Ÿงณ. Especially since you have plenty of options: Monaco Run Gramaglia ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ offers 4 races (1 urban trail, 1 natural trail, and 2 road races โ€“ 5km and 10 km), a race for kids, as well as a charity walk ๐Ÿซถ. So, whether you're an enthusiast eager to break your records โŒš๏ธ, an amateur runner ๐Ÿ‘ถ, or a good Samaritan, we look forward to seeing you in next February in the second smallest country in the world ๐Ÿค (2 kmยฒ), nestled in the Cรดte d'Azur โ˜€๏ธ, between Nice and Italy! ๐Ÿ˜

The Monegasque Athletics Federation offers 4 timed courses of 12 km (urban trail with 418 mD+), 10 km and 5 km as well as the latest novelty, a trail nature of 30 km. The 5 km and 10 km races, ideal for breaking records, are considered to be among the fastest in the world ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ˜ฎ. Speaking of which, know that the 2023 edition was marked by the performance of the French athlete Jimmy Gressier, who completed the 5 km ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ in just 13 minutes and 12 seconds, becoming the new European record holder ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ for this distance. Incidentally, the previous record was held by the Italian Yeman Crippa (13 minutes and 14 seconds). The Frenchman managed to surpass him by running at an average speed of... 22.73 km/h! ๐Ÿ‡ Just like that! You can try to steal the medal from him... If you can make it! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Among the women, it was the French Cassandre Beaugrand who caught attention at the 2025 edition by breaking the French record in 14โ€™53โ€™min ๐Ÿ….

If you're looking for another type of challenge, you can also choose to participate in the "City Trail 12 km" or the "10 km official", which consists of running twice โœŒ๏ธ the 5 km loop ๐Ÿ”. Otherwise, you can inaugurate the latest Monaco Run novelty: the "Trail du Mont Agel". With a length of 30 km and 1,509 mD+, it is the unique opportunity to visit the heights of the principality ๐Ÿคด and enjoy a breathtaking view of the French Riviera ๐ŸŒŠ. For locals, Mont Agel โ›ฐ๏ธ is not just any summit ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. First, because it offers several exceptional panoramas ๐Ÿ‘€ of the communes of Beausoleil, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Gorbio, but also because it holds a strategic historical position in the region's history, from Antiquity. As such, it still hosts military air detection installations โœˆ๏ธ, from constructions within the framework of the Maginot Line ๐Ÿ˜ณ.

But if you'd prefer to relieve yourself from competition pressure, you can also choose to go to the "Pink Ribbon Walk", participating in this 5 km charity walk Pink Ribbon Walk! ๐Ÿฉท This walk, stretching over 5 km, supports the Pink Ribbon Monaco association ๐Ÿค, which aims to fight against breast cancer ๐ŸŽ—. Surely, there will be notable people in the princely city on that day (maybe even the royal family itself ๐Ÿ˜œ).

We don't gamble on the presence of Prince Albert or Princess Charlene. However, we bet you'll have a great time at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco ๐Ÿฌ, created by the Albert I foundation, the "savant navigator prince" ๐Ÿค“. The museum/aquarium/laboratory, which was notably run for over 30 years by the famous Commander Cousteau, contains more than 6,000 fish specimens and 300 families of invertebrates across 6,000 mยฒ of public exhibition ๐Ÿฆ€. Yes, you'll know that the principality is a major center for marine biology! So, you won't be surprised to discover that many clubs focus on aquatic activities: scuba diving ๐Ÿซง (yes, even in February), sailing, swimming, apnea... ๐Ÿคฟ

But well, we know you're a runner! ๐Ÿƒ You love the land, and you especially love staying on it! ๐Ÿ˜‚ So instead, we suggest visiting the old town, the princely palace, parks โ›ฒ๏ธ, gardens, or admiring the sovereign's car collection. You can also try your luck at the Casino de Monte-Carlo ๐Ÿค‘, between two hikes at La Turbie or รˆze (but remember to play responsibly). And to finish your day in style, why not try a daube in Nice or eat a pizza in San Remo? ๐Ÿคค Come on, and don't forget the must-have photo at the Tรชte de Chien! ๐Ÿ“ธ

4 reasons to join this race

Break records โฑ
The 5 km race is renowned for its speed and being one of the fastest races in the world! ๐Ÿซง With only 6 mD+, it's a once-in-a-lifetime chance to smash scores along this small loop by the Monรฉgasque seashore ๐Ÿš€.
The royal setting ๐Ÿ‘‘
A sunny bay, blue waters, a harbor filled with the finest navigation jewels, a princely palace, gardens galore... ๐Ÿคฉ The race's setting is a major argument as it takes place in an exceptional environment. Come see it with your own eyes! ๐Ÿ˜
The charity walk ๐Ÿค
Because it's always good to combine the useful with the pleasant, the competition offers the chance to participate in the 5 km charity walk with the Pink Ribbon Monaco association, which fights against breast cancer ๐ŸŽ—. Funds raised will go to research and screening centers. So put on your shoes, it's for a good cause... and for fun! ๐Ÿ˜Š
Mont Agel ๐ŸคŒ
The newest addition to the competition, the Mont Agel Trail is the surprise everyone hoped for: a natural trail in the heights of the principality! Breathtaking views, unbeatable elevation, historical visit, and bright sun are on the agenda โœ๏ธ.
