THE IRONMAN® SERIES

The Ironman® Circuit: The Ultimate Test of Endurance 💪. Swimming, cycling, running—no coffee breaks ☕. Born in Hawaii 🌸, it attracts athletes from around the globe to push their limits. Each race is a test of resilience, a celebration of human determination 🙋. Beyond the sport, it's a communion with the strength of the human spirit ✨.

THE IRONMAN® CIRCUIT SHOWCASES THE WORLD'S MOST ICONIC LONG DISTANCE TRIATHLONS

The Ironman® Circuit is a globally renowned series of endurance competitions 🌍 that test athletes in three main disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. But before diving into the details of the events and the titans dominating them, let's delve into the history and essence of this legendary circuit!📖

In 1978, in Hawaii 🌸, the Ironman was born from the bold vision of John Collins, who sought to merge the island's three toughest races into a single competition. On February 18th of that year, a group of athletes took on the challenge to determine who among swimmers 🏊, cyclists 🚴, and runners 🏃 was the most complete. Thus, the Ironman Triathlon was born, an unimaginable feat combining a 3.8 km swim in the Waikiki Rough Water Swim, a 180 km bike ride in the Around Oahu Bike Race, followed by the Honolulu Marathon 🥵. John Collins wanted to solve the ultimate endurance puzzle and declared: "Whoever finishes first, we will call him the Ironman." Over the years ⏳, the Ironman has evolved beyond just a sporting event 🏋️. It's become a lifestyle ❤️, a personal quest for endurance and self-improvement. Today, the Ironman circuit includes numerous events worldwide, attracting athletes from all walks of life, from amateurs to professionals.

The rules ⚠️... they vary slightly from one event to another, but the basic principles remain the same: no drafting 🚳 (riding in another competitor's slipstream to reduce wind resistance), no outside assistance except at official aid stations 🍎, and respect for cutoff times for each segment of the race 🔄.

Who can participate in an Ironman?🤔 In theory, anyone. But in practice, only those with the endurance, determination, and discipline can cross the finish line 🏁.

Now, we invite you to explore 6 iconic worlds of the discipline:
